Flex Cables for iPhone 17 Pro Max

iPhone 17 Pro Max flex cables: when the button or sensor is there but doesn't respond

Many faults that look like a button or camera problem actually come from the flex cable linking the component to the logic board. Replacing the flex fixes it without changing more expensive parts.

Common symptoms

A side button with no click or that needs several presses, an iPhone that won't lock or power off, an LED flash that won't light or is weak, no torch, poor low-light focus and inaccurate augmented reality measurements.

What you'll find on this page

On this page you'll find:

• power button flex cable for iPhone 17 Pro Max: for a side button that is stuck or doesn't respond
• flash light sensor flex cable for iPhone 17 Pro Max: for a missing or weak LED flash
• LiDAR sensor flex for iPhone 17 Pro Max: the depth sensor of the rear camera system

Every cable is tested before shipping and is specific to the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

How to choose the right part

First rule out the case and software: remove the cover and try a force restart. If the outer button is bent or stuck you need the button, not the flex. All cables on this page are specific to the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Compatible parts

If your phone is another model of the iPhone 17 family, the same type of part is on the Flex Cables for iPhone 17 Pro page. Every other part for your iPhone 17 Pro Max is in the iPhone 17 Pro Max Spare Parts category.

Frequently asked questions

The button moves but nothing happens: is it the flex?
Almost always: the micro switch sits on the internal flex, not on the outer button.

What does the LiDAR sensor do?
It measures scene depth: it helps low-light focus, portraits and augmented reality apps.

Can I replace it myself?
The phone has to be opened, the battery disconnected and several components removed: we recommend a technician.
