SIM Trays and SIM Reader for iPhone 17

iPhone 17 SIM trays and reader: use your SIM card again

The SIM tray is easily lost or bent, and without it the card won't stay in place. If the phone doesn't read any SIM, the problem may be the internal reader, the flex with the card contacts.

Common symptoms

A lost or bent tray, a tray that won't go in or come out, a No SIM message with a working card, signal that comes and goes when you move the phone.

How to choose the right part

Is the tray the same for all iPhone 17 models?
No, shape and size change between models: these are specific to the iPhone 17.

The phone says No SIM: what do I replace?
Try another card; if the problem persists and the tray is fine, you need the internal SIM reader.

How do I remove the tray?
Insert the ejector pin into the hole next to the slot and push gently.
