Proximity Light Sensor Flex Cable for iPhone 18 Pro

If the screen on your iPhone 18 Pro stays on during calls and your ear ends up tapping buttons, or auto-brightness no longer adjusts, the proximity sensor flex is often to blame. This proximity light sensor flex cable for iPhone 18 Pro replaces the damaged part.

• Premium quality: high-grade compatible part, checked before shipping.

What the proximity light sensor does

The iPhone 18 Pro proximity sensor flex sits at the top of the phone and its cable connects to the logic board the sensors that detect when the iPhone is held to your ear and how much light is around: turning the display off during calls and automatic brightness both depend on it.

When to replace the light sensor flex cable

Replace it when the display does not turn off as you raise the phone to your face, switches off for no reason or auto-brightness gets stuck, usually after a drop, a badly done screen replacement or liquid damage. A new proximity light sensor flex cable for iPhone 18 Pro fixes it without changing the display.

Compatibility with iPhone 18 Pro

Compatible only with Apple iPhone 18 Pro. Not suitable for iPhone 18, iPhone 18 Pro Max or earlier models.

Installation note for the flex cable

The flex cable sits under the screen, in the upper area near the front camera: replacing it means opening the iPhone and disconnecting the battery. We recommend having it fitted by a qualified technician working with good light.
