Dock Connector iPhone 4S White

The Dock Connector iPhone 4S White is the 30-pin port that takes the charging and sync cable. This is the bare solder-on connector, with metal shell and mounting tabs, fitted on the dock flex at the bottom of the phone.

Installation note

The connector has to be desoldered and resoldered on the dock flex: you need a hot air station, flux and a microscope or magnifier, as the pins are very close together. Align all contacts carefully and avoid overheating the flex. If the flex or microphone are also damaged, replacing the complete dock connector is the better choice.
