The Touch Screen FPC Connector for iPhone 4S is the 30-pin female connector soldered onto the logic board into which the touch screen flex plugs: it is the connection point that carries the digitizer signals to the phone.
It needs replacing when the touch doesn't respond or works only in some areas even with a new display, when the flex no longer clicks in firmly, or when the connector has bent, broken or corroded pins, often due to forcing the plug during a display replacement or to liquid damage.
Main features
- Type: touch screen FPC connector, logic board side.
- Pins: 30.
- Fitting: to be soldered onto the logic board (micro-soldering).
- Quality: compatible spare part, not original Apple.
- Quality control: QC Passed, tested before shipping.
If even a new display doesn't respond to touch, the fault is often on the board: the touch FPC connector for iPhone 4S restores the connection and full touch operation.

Installation note
A job for technicians experienced in micro-soldering: shield nearby components, remove the old connector with temperature-controlled hot air, clean the pads with desoldering braid and check under the microscope for bridges between pins before connecting the display. Check the exact model of your iPhone before fitting.
