Home Button with Membrane for Apple iPhone 4S White

The Home Button with Membrane for Apple iPhone 4S White is the round front button of the iPhone 4S, supplied together with the rubber membrane that sits under the button and transfers each press to the Home button flex cable. It fits on the front glass, in the opening below the screen, and is used to return to the home screen, activate Siri and open multitasking.

It should be replaced when the button is cracked, chipped, yellowed or scratched, when it is sunken, sticks or stays pressed, or when the click feels soft and presses are not always detected because the membrane is worn or torn. If the button does not respond at all even with a new membrane, the fault may be in the Home button flex cable.
