MicroSIM Card Tray for iPhone 4S

The MicroSIM Card Tray for iPhone 4S is the removable tray that slides into the slot on the right side of the phone. It holds the MicroSIM card in the correct position, aligned with the SIM reader contacts, and closes the side opening of the housing.

Replacement is recommended when the tray has been lost, is bent or broken, no longer sits flush with the housing, when the SIM is not detected ("No SIM") or the signal drops in and out because the card is not held firmly.

Main features

• Type: SIM card tray.
• Format: MicroSIM.
• Mounting: external, push-fit into the side slot, removed with the eject tool.
• Quality: compatible replacement part, not genuine Apple.
• Quality control: QC Passed.

iPhone 4S SIM Tray Replacement

A deformed tray can stop the SIM from touching the contacts properly or damage the internal reader. With an iPhone 4S SIM tray replacement using this spare part correct card seating and side closure are restored.

Installation note

Power off the phone before removing the tray. Use the eject tool or a paper clip in the side hole, without prying on the edge. Place the MicroSIM with the cut corner matching the tray outline and reinsert it the right way round, pushing it fully home without forcing: a crooked insertion can bend the SIM reader contacts.
