Installation note

On the iPhone 4S the display assembly is replaced working from the back: after removing the back cover, disconnect the battery first and remove the logic board. Keep the screws sorted by position, as they have different lengths and a screw fitted in the wrong hole can damage the board. Before closing, test touch, display and home button by temporarily connecting the new assembly.
