Backlight Panel iPhone 7

The Backlight Panel iPhone 7 is the flexible LED strip that provides illumination for the LCD display of the iPhone 7. It sits at the bottom edge of the display module and transmits light across the panel, making the screen image visible.

Replace the backlight panel when the display appears very dark or completely black while still receiving signal (touch works but no image is visible), or when horizontal light streaks or flicker appear due to a deteriorated FPC cable.

Backlight Panel Replacement iPhone 7

Replacing the backlight panel requires removing the display and separating the LCD module layers. This repair is appropriate when the fault is isolated to the backlight rather than the full display, allowing a more cost-effective fix than a complete display replacement.
