Installation note

We strongly recommend having the home button flex cable replaced by an experienced technician. It is important to remember that on iPhone 7, 7 Plus, 8 and 8 Plus, the home button is paired to the original logic board at the factory: replacing it with any component — including an original Apple part — permanently disables Touch ID. There is no software or hardware workaround for this limitation. Siri, Apple Pay and all other home button functions remain fully operational.
