Installation note

We strongly recommend having the home button flex cable replaced by an experienced technician. On iPhone 7, 7 Plus, 8 and 8 Plus, the home button is paired to the original logic board at the factory: replacing it with any component permanently disables Touch ID. There is no software or hardware workaround for this limitation. Siri, Apple Pay and all other home button functions remain fully operational.
