The Metal Bracket for iPhone 7 Battery Connector is the locking clip that secures the battery connector flex cable to the logic board, ensuring a stable and reliable electrical contact.
When this component breaks, bends or gets lost during a repair, the battery may become unstable, the device may shut down unexpectedly or fail to detect the battery at all. Replacing the bracket restores the connector to its correct position.
Key features
- Material: stainless steel with protective coating.
- Function: mechanical locking of the battery connector flex onto the logic board.
- Verified compatibility: Apple iPhone 7 (all models A1660, A1778, A1779, A1780).

The bracket must be removed before disconnecting the battery connector — it acts as a safety lock for the electrical circuit. In repair centres, it is replaced whenever mechanical damage is found or when it is missing after a previous repair.
