The Rear Camera for iPhone 8 is the main camera module mounted on the back of the iPhone 8 chassis. It houses the 12 MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture and is responsible for photography, video recording and optical image stabilisation (OIS).
It should be replaced when the camera produces blurry or dark images, is not detected by the system, has sustained physical damage to the module, or following a drop that has compromised the sensor.
Replacing the rear camera on iPhone 8 requires removing the back cover and carefully detaching the module's flex cable from the logic board before lifting the sensor from its housing.
This module is compatible exclusively with iPhone 8 models A1863, A1905 and A1906. Discover all the details of this spare part.
Not compatible with: iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X and other models.
Before starting, power off the device and disconnect the battery. The camera module is connected via a delicate flex cable: disconnect it carefully to avoid tearing. Use anti-static spudgers and tweezers when handling the sensor.
QC Passed — each component undergoes quality control before shipment. Sold pursuant to the Italian Consumer Code (D.Lgs. 206/05). The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation or device tampering. Product images are for illustrative purposes only.
