Cameras and Camera Lenses for iPhone 18 Pro Max

iPhone 18 Pro Max camera: module, sensor or just the lens?

On the Pro Max a camera problem can come from four different parts: the rear block with three lenses, the front camera with the IR sensor, the LiDAR that measures depth, and the outer lens covers. Finding out which one has failed means you only pay for what you need.

Common symptoms

Blurry or shaky images, a lens that vibrates or clicks, a black Camera app, smudged selfies or FaceTime not starting, poor portrait edges, fixed haze in photos from a scratched or cracked lens cover.

What you'll find on this page

The complete rear camera for iPhone 18 Pro Max with wide, ultra wide and telephoto lenses, the complete front camera with IR for iPhone 18 Pro Max (selfie camera and infrared camera on the same flex) and the LiDAR sensor flex for iPhone 18 Pro Max, all in Pulled quality. For the lens covers, in Premium quality: the set of 3 black rear camera lenses without bezel and the set of 3 camera lenses with black bezel, also available in silver, burgundy and glacier blue.

How to choose the right part

If photos show haze but the camera focuses, the lens cover is often enough. If one lens won't activate, you need the rear module; if portrait, AR and low-light focus suffer, the LiDAR. Keep in mind Face ID is tied to the logic board and may not work after replacing the IR module.

Compatible parts

The camera lenses fit both the iPhone 18 Pro and the 18 Pro Max, while the cameras and LiDAR on this page are specific to the Pro Max. If your phone is an iPhone 18 Pro, the same type of part is on the Cameras and Camera Lenses for iPhone 18 Pro page. All other parts are in the iPhone 18 Pro Max Spare Parts category.

Frequently asked questions

Does iOS show a warning after the replacement?
For the rear camera iOS may report that the part isn't recognised as genuine, but the camera remains fully usable.

Lenses with or without bezel?
If the bezels are intact, the lenses without bezel are enough; if they're dented, choose the set with bezel in your phone's colour.

Does Face ID work after replacing the front camera?
Face ID is tied to the original logic board: after replacing the IR module it may not work, while selfies and FaceTime work again.
