Charging Port for iPhone 18 Pro Max

iPhone 18 Pro Max USB-C port: when cleaning isn't enough

On the Pro Max the USB-C connector isn't soldered to the logic board: it's part of a separate flex. So when the port is worn or corroded, you replace just the flex and the phone charges and syncs data again like before.

Common symptoms

The phone only charges with the cable at an angle, the charging icon flickers on and off, an 'accessory not supported' alert appears, your Mac or PC doesn't detect the iPhone, the port contacts look green or dark.

What you'll find on this page

The European version charging port flex in Premium quality, with USB-C port, brackets and connectors pre-fitted, in black, silver, glacier blue and burgundy: for example the charging port flex for iPhone 18 Pro Max, black or the charging port flex for iPhone 18 Pro Max, glacier blue.

How to choose the right part

Pick the colour of your iPhone's frame so the port matches. The flex comes in a European and a US version: the ones on this page are for European models. Before ordering, try another cable and another charger.

Frequently asked questions

Is the connector soldered to the logic board?
No, the USB-C port is part of the flex: you replace the flex and keep the original logic board.

What's the difference between the European and US version?
They are two different flex cables: choose the one that matches your iPhone. This page has the European version.

Does the colour matter?
Only for looks: the connector is visible from outside, so it's best to match the frame colour.
