Power and Volume Flex Cables for iPhone 18 Pro Max

iPhone 18 Pro Max flex cables: when the button is there but the phone doesn't respond

Under each side button of the Pro Max there's a micro switch mounted on a flex cable that carries the command to the logic board. That's where knocks and corrosion end up: the outer button looks fine, but the click is no longer detected.

Common symptoms

Side button that won't lock the screen or turn the phone off, Siri not starting, volume not changing, buttons with no click or that act on their own. It often happens after a drop on the side or contact with liquid.

What you'll find on this page

The power button flex cable for iPhone 18 Pro Max, which handles screen lock, power off and double-click, and the volume button flex cable for iPhone 18 Pro Max (code printed on the flex: 07107-04), both in Pulled quality and complete with brackets and connector.

How to choose the right part

The power flex is on the right side, the volume flex on the left. If the outer button itself is bent, stuck or faded, you need the side button set instead. Replacement requires fully opening the phone.

If your phone is an iPhone 18 Pro, the same type of part is on the Flex Cables for iPhone 18 Pro page. All other parts are in the iPhone 18 Pro Max Spare Parts category.

Frequently asked questions

The button moves but doesn't work: is it the flex?
Most likely yes: if the outer button clicks properly, the fault is in the micro switch on the internal flex.

Can I check the flex code?
The volume buttons flex has the code 07107-04 printed on it, handy to compare with the one in your phone.

Do they fit the iPhone 18 Pro?
No, these flex cables are specific to the iPhone 18 Pro Max. The 18 Pro ones are on their own page.
