Touch and LCD Test Flex Cable for iPhone 6S

Before gluing down and closing an iPhone 6S, it always pays to check that the new screen really works. The touch and LCD test flex is made for exactly that: it connects display and digitizer to the logic board without reassembling everything, so you can check image and touch before the final assembly.

Main features

• New diagnostic tool for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6S.
• Two extension flex cables: one for the touch (FPT) and one for the LCD display (LCM).
• Connectors on both ends to link screen and logic board.
• Designed for workshop use.

Test flex for the iPhone 6S touch screen

The flex with the FTP and FPT connectors brings the digitizer signal outside the phone, so you can check how it responds to touch before fixing the glass in place.

Test flex for the iPhone 6S LCD display

The second flex, with the LCM connectors, links the LCD panel to the logic board so you can check image, colours and brightness without refitting the frame.

Compatibility

• Apple iPhone 6S (A1633, A1688, A1700).

Not compatible with iPhone 6, 6 Plus and 6S Plus.

Package contents

• 1 x Touch and LCD test flex for iPhone 6S (iPhone 6S Touch and LCD Test Flex).

Installation note

It is a tool aimed mainly at technicians and repair centres. Check the exact model of your iPhone first and connect the connectors gently, with the phone switched off.
