AirPort WiFi Antenna for MacBook 13" A1342

The AirPort WiFi Antenna for MacBook 13" A1342 carries the wireless signal to the AirPort card of the white Unibody MacBook. It is the part to fit when WiFi reception is poor even close to the router, the connection drops often or networks show up with a single bar.

Main features

• Function: WiFi signal reception and transmission.
• Connection: snap-on coaxial connector on the AirPort card.
• Condition: removed from a new device.

AirPort WiFi Antenna for MacBook A1342

The antenna is connected to the AirPort card inside the MacBook and its cable runs towards the display hinge area. If the cable gets pinched, frayed or the connector works loose, the WiFi card keeps working but the signal becomes weak and unstable. Before ordering, check your model on the page of the AirPort antenna for MacBook A1342.

It is the right fix when the MacBook sees networks but with a weak signal, loses the connection a few metres from the router or is much slower than other devices on the same network. If WiFi is missing altogether, the AirPort card is the more likely culprit. Discover all the details of this part.
