How Qi Wireless Charging Works

Qi is the world's most widely used wireless charging standard, developed by the Wireless Power Consortium. It works through electromagnetic induction: the charging pad generates a magnetic field that a coil inside the device (either factory-built or added via a receiver module) converts into electrical energy to charge the battery. Since no direct electrical contact is required, wireless charging reduces wear on the device's charging port and simplifies daily use: just place the phone on the pad, without plugging and unplugging a cable.
