Weller WFEP Smoke Extractor

The Weller WFEP Smoke Extractor is the benchtop unit from the Zero-Smog line for tip fume extraction, with an integrated pump, 230V / 50Hz power supply and multi-stage filtering. It removes soldering fumes right where they form, before they reach the operator's airways.

It is worth considering whenever you solder or work with adhesives and lasers on a regular basis: the fumes and particles released into the air of the work area are harmful, and a dedicated extraction system protects whoever works at the bench, as well as the rest of the staff.

Tip fume extraction with the Weller WFEP

Weller FE soldering irons integrate the extraction tube into the handle, positioned directly above the solder joint. With the WFEP smoke extractor, any fume generated during the process is drawn away immediately, without cluttering the work surface with arms or hoods.

Zero-Smog system for soldering workstations

Weller Zero-Smog systems combine suction pumps, electronic control and interchangeable filters. The WFEP can be connected to a maximum of 2 FE soldering irons, and kits are available to adapt tip extraction even to Weller soldering irons that do not integrate it. Compatibility

Compatible with Weller FE soldering irons with extraction integrated in the handle, up to 2 workstations per unit. The WFE 20D, on the other hand, is a separate mobile solution designed for a larger number of workstations.

Installation note

Place the unit steadily on the bench and keep the suction and exhaust openings clear. The filters are interchangeable: check them regularly and replace them when suction drops, to maintain performance and filtering efficiency.
