Check the measurement section and turn the knob to adjust. If the current or voltage is not known,

Select the highest measurement section. The highest current range is 250 (500) mA and the voltage range is 500 (1000) V.

procedure:

First of all, make sure that the plumb bob is on the zero line before measuring. If not, use the knob to adjust it.

(1) Direct current (DC):

Place the red test lead connector on the "+" (positive terminal) of the measuring device and the black connector on the "-" (negative terminal).

Turn the measurement section into the highest current section.

Series connection to the test circuit of the probe bar.

Read the number (mAV) on the second scale of the balance plate.

If the number on the scale is not clear, move to the lower scale to get a clear number.

(2) Direct voltage or alternating voltage (DCV or ACV):

Choose the highest range of voltages.
Connect the probe through the circuit.
Read the number on the second leg of the scale plate (10 V on the third leg, which is specifically designed for the AC 10V test).

(3). Resistance (ohm):

Choose the correct measurement section.

Place the probe in a short-circuit and rotate the pointer on the zero ohm line. If the pointer cannot stay on the zero ohm line,

To test electrical equipment, use the probe to connect them in series (if testing the circuit resistance, the circuit must be cut).
